Mini Review # 5 - You needmto be on your tip-top game with your GTL to stay FTD to get the girls to DTF in MIA

The show  Jersey shore features 8 guidos and guidettes. They have never been to the shore, and some of them have never even been to New Jersey. But to them, Seaside is Heaven on Earth. Watch as they get drunk, get laid, and trash Seaside Heights. While your at it, maybe you can learn a couple things about tanning, fist pumps and hair gel.  Not only do they make themselves look like idiots by calling it  Joizy or Jersey Shore, the people around them look at them and say. "Are you new?" Like we call it the shore, not "Jersey shore." or something simple like "the beach." yep you're new.  These fellow guidos and guidettes, just like to get hammered and get laid.  They're full of stupid pointless drama, which makes the show entertaining to watch....that is why I like watching it.  They all also work at "The shore store." but they're mostly all lazy, and also late half the time and still work there.  Like what is wrong with the owners mind, make them get a real job to pay the rent of your place.  Or maybe you shouldn't because they would for sure loose that job coming in all hungover and stuff.  I don't know what else to say other then this show is pointless we all know that people go to bars, and end up taking someone home.  We don't need it advertised on TV.  But I love this show, even though what I'm saying doesn't sound like it, it's so stupid it's funny......and I love a good laugh!  

Mini review # 4 - TGIF

I'm just kidding it's not Friday but what I am going to type about is.  Rebecca Black, she is a young teen who likes to promote people to party, and get down on.  She is not only a young girl abusing youtube (I'm juist kidding), but she is a young girl just trying to make her dream come true!  To bad it kind of did but it made almost everyone hate her, makes me laugh! Even though I kind of feel bad.................just kind of, just a smidge.  She has all helped us learn the days of the week, and she has also shown half of us how bad of human beings we can be she basically got all her views on her video because people were hating on it and just wanted a laugh.  I personally give her credit for her effort and such.  But I still don't like her and I don't know what else to say about her other then she tried, and didn't succeed but don't give up your day job.  Also please go back to school and learn proper grammar.  You're making young girls that actually like your song turn stupid, man they had some potential. Plus you're telling them that you're waking up going to smoke weed, then munch on some cereal.......HAHAHA

Mini Review # 3 - oh frig, black and white......what is going on !?!?!!!!!!!!1

Silent films lol, yes I'm saying "lol" in an ISU 'cause I literally lol'd.  I don't really have an opinion on silent films, well I do.  What I'm trying to say is I don't totally dislike them and I don't totally love them.  I must say that I'd rather watch 12 silent films in one period then read some boring comic book.  But some silent films are really interesting and not to mention funny.  But on the other hand some can be so boring, lame and superrrrr cheesy like "The first kiss" one like how lame can you get oh my goodness.  I believe that the first silent film that you had to pay for was interesting.  It was called   "Train pulling into station."  I thought it was going to be boring but it turned out to be exciting with the people running away and what not.  What else was interesting was the fact that the train actually looked like it was coming towards you and people actually got scared!  Silent films are much, much more different then films these days.  Like they got scared by a train coming at them WITH NO SOUND!! movies now have like really loud horrible horror sounds and bloody guts coming out of places where they shouldn't be coming from.  So in the end I'd rather watch a Silent Film the read comic books in media class.

Mini Revier # 2 - Miley Cyrus shaves more then Justin Bieber

Justin Drew Bieber, ahh where to start.  He was born about 16 years, aprox 4 months and 13 days ago if I did the calculations right.....that should be about well, March 1st 1994.  He is a teen pop star, well he is not just loved by me...or just teens.  Some adults love him and so do the little kiddies.  He started out on youtube just like Rebecca Black...thank god one of 'em sounded good.  Justin is not only a singer he is also a student, a family member, a friend...but not only is he that he is also a thoughtful person.  People make Justin out to seem like a bad guy but in the end he isn't.  He has helped out with many charity such as; "Cure Duchenne", "Give back Hollywood foundation", "Children's miracle network hospitals", "Grammy Foundation", "Jumpstart", "Pencils of Promises" and many more.  Even though Justin may not sing good (in my opinion I will tell you one time baby that he does.) he is a great humanbeing and people need to stop and realize that.  He just doesn't go out and sing for the heck of it, he does it for his fans.  He loves his fans so much he is willing to do almost anything for them.  He also isn't just a singer he is a regular child on his time off he is just as crazy as any other teen these days.  But I'm rambling now so I will stop, but I do not have "Bieber fever." but I do really like that kid, and love all his music.

Mini review #1 - Attacked by The Legion of the Superpets.

I believe that comic books are boring.  They're nonsense...I don't understand how people can waste their time reading that lame stuff.  It's all so unrealistic and cheesy.  Comic books I mean who wants to read narrative artwork with some dialog besides those nerds? Like come on they play like pokemon and stuff.  I personally would rather read shakespear, well not really that is taking it a bit to far.  But give me a book and I'll read it but comics no, not at all.  I would consider reading them if they weren't 1) so boring, 2) were real, and 3) didn't have some fake superhero in it.  Who comes up with this stuff anyways?  I mean even though I don't like comics I do have to give credit to all the people that make them.  I mean even though they may be boring and stuff, I do show the some appreciation for trying to please people with their ever so crazy imaginations!  So in the end I don't like comic books....won't ever like them.  But it's not like I disrespect them or anything, just that it's not my thing.

Rip film thing - b l o g 4

Why do you think the filmmaker made this film?  What was his intention and point of view of this film?  Do you agree with this point of view?  Why or why not?
           I think the film maker made this video to emphasize the rights that we don't have.  I believe his point of view was that what he was doing is not stealing anyone could have made beats...where did they beat come from in the first place? Did the artist of that song steal it from someone? I do agree with his point of view but some I don't like match-ups,I disagree with that because you are taking two different songs and putting them together and classifying them as your own when they're not

Due to the nature of the documentary, there was clearly a bias on the part of the filmmaker.  Is it okay to have bias?  How did the film portray the other side of the argument?  Were they successful in interviewing the other side?
I think that in this film the bias was ok because he was just trying to get his own personal point across. When you have someone so strong going againat you, you must be prepared.

Now that you have seen the film, what are your thoughts on copyright?  Should anything that is online be available for us to alter into something else?  Is it okay to download parts of a film and include them in your own film?  Would you be okay with someone taking your art work, altering it and calling it their own?

I think that some coprighting should be alound but not all. If you're using it for work like for something to show or reference to that is fine but if you're using it and calling it your own that is wrong. Some people live on re-making things and make their own from someone elses property without permission. But if they had asked for permission it probablly would have been a no, then what would those people do? I believe that match-ups shouldn't be aloud, but sampling should be aloud because technically it wasn't their beat to begin with...just because they made a song with it, it's not like they discovered the beat and it belongs to them, because it doesn't know what I mean? But yeah I believe some should be aloud to an extent but others should be prohibited.

What are your overall thoughts on the film?  Was the argument constructed well?  Did you enjoy watching it?  Why or why not?

This film was well made with lots of interesting and helpful facts. It was constructed well and put together very well. They way the transitions and all the effects were put together was great. Yes I did enjoy this video it was very interesting and I learned new things that I hadn't known before. I had no idea what sampling or what a match up was but now I do and it's very interesting......and now that I know I notice it in songs I hear on the radio or that i download off of ITUNES!

Who is the focus of the show?
The focus in the shows cakeboss, and DC cupcakes I would have to say everyone.  I don't think it is really designated toward anyone of a certain age, but it may go in the section of bakers.

What are they going to be doing?
In  cakeboss Buddy is the cake boss.  He took ovdr the business because his father had passed away when he was 16.  He has a dream which is to make Carlos' Bakery Shop a household name without the help of his family.  The family shows so much love for eath other even when in fights etc..  They make amazing cakes and I love this show.

 DC cupcakes sisters Sophie and Katherine have a small cupcakery? Which has been turned intp a huge success...as you can see considering they have their own TV show...aswell as Cakeboss.  Thier lifelong goal was to open a bakery with all their grandmothers recipies.  The sisters to many things like large projects such as fundraisers, festivals and weddings, there is never a dull moment!!

Where will this take place? 
The television shows take place with in their cupcakeriers, or bakeries.
Cake boss is in New Jersey
and
DC cupcakes takes place in a small place called Georgetown.

What is the setting? 
Cakeboss - My opinion the setting is always loving and caring joyful people..but when someone gets angry they sure get angry.  Also it is a funny enviroment at times especially when they play jokes on people.

DC cupcakes - I think the sisters are always calm, even when something goes wrong they don't take things to serious mearsures like cakeboss!



Why is this setting attractive or interesting for your audience?
Cakeboss - The setting is just like any other normal bakery, but their beautilful set up in the front it really attractive.

DC cupcakes-  The setting is bright and very welcoming for the small town of George....ahaha

Is it dramatic enough?
Cakeboss is a very dramatic show when something goes wrong things go through the roof!  Dc cupcakes isn't really that dramatic, it is sort of a calm evviroment at certain times when one of the sisters have something go wrong they kind of freak out but nothing drastic.

Is there a goal?

Buddy's goal was to make Carlos' bakery a houehold name without the help of his family.

Sophie and Katherine's goal was just to open up a bakery/ cupcakery whatever you want to call it, with all their grandmothers recipies!

I think that Cake boss is a good show just because, when it comes to making cake they are very serious about things, but in the end they all love each other and play jokes etc.









I think that DC cupcakes is more of an I like type of show, just because after watching Cakboss it's more boring...not as dramatic also the things they make are not as fantastic as cakboss.
